“Return To The Roots of Natural Health”
Join us for a weekend of herbal discovery at Mt. Cheaha State Park, the highest point in Alabama
Come and learn from a great variety of speakers such as Matt St.John, Darryl Patton, Maggie Baker Conklin and other great herbal educators. With hands-on intensives, lectures, wild food tastings and herb walks, you will be sure to have a great time reconnecting with nature and learning about the Roots of Natural Medicine.
Registration begins promptly at 8:30 Friday morning and is open until 10:00. We will then go into a short general session until 10:30 and classes will begin. A schedule will be posted in the main conference hall.
Meals: Home -style meals will be provided, at no extra cost. Friday lunch and supper, Saturday breakfast, lunch and supper, Sunday breakfast and lunch. Meals will include several wild foraged foods such as Ramps, Nettles, Mushrooms etc…..
There will be vegetarian, gluten-free and low carb options available at each meal time. Freshly-baked cookies, muffins , herbal teas and coffee will be available for self-serve all weekend.
There will be a bucket set out for “Love Offerings” should anyone wish to contribute towards the cost of the food/paper goods but all are welcome to enjoy the food and snacks provided without any obligation.
COVID19: We are guests of the wonderful people at Cheaha State Park and will be following ALL Alabama and CDC guidelines. This will include masks except when outdoors and engaged in activities where masks are not required by the park (hiking etc…). Indoor and group activities will require proper spacing with the exception of family units and please bring plenty of hand sanitizer.
